The project explores how structural rhythm, material restraint, and controlled light can shape a contemplative spatial experience while maintaining a strong architectural identity.

The process

The pavilion required a balance between architectural precision and natural integration. It needed to:

  • Sit lightly within the landscape

  • Respond to surrounding vegetation and daylight

  • Create a sense of openness without losing structural clarity

  • Offer a calm, sensory-driven visitor experience

The design challenge centered on achieving structural expression without visual heaviness.
